HNS Harvest End Breakfast


Mark Your Calendar for the 3rd Annual HNS Harvest End Breakfast!

On Thursday, November 9 from 7:30-9:00 a.m., we will be hosting our third annual HNS Harvest End Breakfast, this year being held at the Wu Welcome Centre in Alumni Hall, 512 Main St., next to Festival Theatre, Acadia University. Please plan to join us for great food, interesting speakers (to be announced shortly), and lots of networking.

This is a free event for both members and all our friends and partners in the community, so please share the news! To pre-register, just RSVP to this email or call 902-678-9335 to reserve your plate.

Parking is free (at Festival Theatre, behind Alumni Hall or at the arena) and if you have special parking needs, please let us know so we can make arrangements. So register today!

Tax Credit Update – Food Bank Donations


Update on the tax credit for food bank donations from farmers:

On Tuesday, December 13, 2016, the Food Bank Tax Credit for Farmers was officially launched with all regulations in place.

As a reminder, this tax credit is retroactive to January 1, 2016.

Many of our members already donate to the food bank on a regular basis, and have done so for many years; we encourage everyone to consider helping those who otherwise may not have enough to eat!
