DESCRIPTION:McCain Farms of the Future merges cutting-edge research with regenerative agriculture practices as an innovative approach to revolutionize farming. For more details on McCain Farms of the Future\, please see here. \nOn behalf of our members\, we are planning a private group tour with McCain Farms of the Future in Peel\, NB. This tour will be July 16th and will cover some of the following practices: \n\nCover crops (types of cover crops/biofumigants and protocol)\nControlled traffic farming\nSoil health testing (metrics and frequency)\nChisel plow (conservative tillage)\nFall bedding\n\nPlease note that this tour is a benefit for HNS members only. \nFor the sign-up form please see here. When choosing a preferred date\, please note there will be a travel day the day before the tour and early departure the day following. Transportation will be provided and a block of rooms at a nearby hotel has been reserved.
