Perennia Webinar – Safe Food for Canadians guide

Perennia’s Quality and Food Safety team has launched a new resource, Safe Food for Canadians, Good Agriculture Practices Guide. This guide, and the corresponding sample forms, will help producers meet the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations for fresh fruit and vegetables.
To help producers navigate this guide, Quality and Food Safety Specialists, Shelly MacDonald and Elaine Grant, are hosting a webinar on December 3rd. During this online session, Shelly and Elaine will give a general overview of Safe Food for Canadians Regulations, show how to use the guide, explain the preventative controls required, food safety hazards, traceability requirements and how to meet them as well as how to develop a preventative control plan.
Directed at fresh fruit and vegetable producers in Nova Scotia, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
