Biobeds for Managing Pesticide Rinsate
A biobed is a lined containment structure designed to remove pesticides from water that has been used to rinse sprayers. Biobeds can effectively remove over 90% of pesticides in rinse water.
Come see an operational biobed constructed by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada research scientist Dr. Erin Smith and learn more about these structures and what it takes to construct and operate one.
