Productivity & Innovation Training
February 11, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Last year we held our first Productivity and Innovation Training Program at NSCC Kingstec in Kentville with instructor Angela Scammell – it was a resounding success!
Based on that success, we are again working in partnership with the Nova Scotia Community College to offer that program for those of you in the Truro area. Beginning next Monday, February 11, we will hold this series of seminars at NSCC Truro Campus (36 Arthur Street, Truro, Nova Scotia B2N 1X5), funded by the Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentive Program (WIPSI)!
Seven flexibly scheduled workshops each 6 hours in duration (plus lunch), will be held at a NSCC Truro Campus for a total of 42 hours of training (please note one day is divided into two half days; on the first day of class the instructor will discuss the scheduled course dates and any modifications desired by the group). On completion of all seven workshops, participants will earn a NSCC Certificate of Completion.
Enrolment is limited to the first 15 applicants. We are excited to be able to provide you with this WIPSI-funded opportunity. We realize it is short notice; we just received confirmation of funding and would like to have the programs complete before planting season is well underway.
To pre-register, please email Marlene@horticulturens.ca or call 902-678-9335.
